Ivory Coast, also known as Côte d'Ivoire and officially as the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, is a country on the southern coast of West Africa. Its capital, Yamoussoukro, is located in the centre of the country, while Abidjan is its largest city and economic centre.

Abidjan is the largest city and the former capital of Ivory Coast. As of the 2021 census, Abidjan's population was 6.3 million, which is 21.5 percent of the overall population of the country, making it the sixth most populous city proper in Africa, after Lagos, Cairo, Kinshasa, Dar es Salaam, and Johannesburg.
Bouaké is the second-largest city in Ivory Coast, with a population of 740,000. It is the seat of three levels of subdivision—Vallée du Bandama District, Gbêkê Region, and Bouaké Department. The city is located in the central part of Ivory Coast about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Lake Kossou, the country's largest lake.
Yamoussoukro is the capital city of Ivory Coast and an autonomous district. As of the 2014 census, Yamoussoukro is the third most populous city in the Ivory Coast, with a population of 361,893. Located 240 kilometers (150 mi) north-west of Abidjan, the district of Yamoussoukro covers 2,075 square kilometers (801 sq mi) among rolling hills and plains.
Daloa is a city in western Ivory Coast. It is the seat of both the Sassandra-Marahoué District and the Haut-Sassandra Region. It is also the seat of and a sub-prefecture of Daloa Department. Daloa is also a commune. In the 2014 census, the city had a population of 245,360, making it the third-largest city in the country. It lies to the west of Yamoussoukro, the capital of Ivory Coast.
Korhogo is a city in northern Ivory Coast. It is the seat of both Savanes District and Poro Region. It is also a commune and the seat of and a sub-prefecture of Korhogo Department. In the 2014 census, the city had a population of 243,048, making it the fourth-largest city in the country and the largest in northern Ivory Coast.
San-Pédro is a city in southwestern Ivory Coast. It is the nation's second largest port and the seat of Bas-Sassandra District and San-Pédro Region. It is also a commune and the seat of and a sub-prefecture of San-Pédro Department. In the 2014 census, the city had a population of 164,944, making it the sixth-largest city in the country. The city is served by San Pédro Airport.
Man is a city in western Ivory Coast. It is the seat of both Montagnes District and Tonkpi Region. It is also a commune and the seat of and a sub-prefecture of Man Department. In the 2014 census, the city had a population of 149,041, making it the eighth-largest city in the country.
Gagnoa is a city in south-central Ivory Coast. It is the seat of both Gôh-Djiboua District and Gôh Region. It is also the seat of and a sub-prefecture of Gagnoa Department. Gagnoa is also a commune. In the 2014 census, the city had a population of 160,465, making it the seventh-largest city in the country.
Soubré is a city in southwestern Ivory Coast. It is a sub-prefecture of and the seat of Soubré Department. It is also a commune and the seat of Nawa Region in Bas-Sassandra District. In the 2014 census, the city had a population of 101,196 and the sub-prefecture a population of 175,163.
