Chad, officially the Republic of Chad, is a country in Central Africa. It is bordered by Libya to the north, Sudan to the east, the Central African Republic to the south, Cameroon to the southwest, Nigeria to the southwest, and Niger to the west.

N'Djamena is the capital and largest city of Chad. It is also a Special Status Province, divided into 10 districts or arrondissements, similar to the city of Paris.
Moundou is the second-largest city in Chad and is the capital of the region of Logone Occidental.
Sarh, formerly known as Fort Archambault, is the capital of the Moyen-Chari Region and the capital of the Department of Barh Köh in Chad.
Abéché is a city in central-eastern Chad and the capital of the Ouaddaï Region. By road it is 749 kilometres (465 mi) northeast of the national capital of N'Djamena and 164 kilometres (102 mi) northwest of Adre, on the border with Sudan. Surrounded by savanna, it is one of the largest cities in the country.
Kélo is a city in southwest Chad, its fifth largest city by population. It is also the capital of the department of Tandjilé Ouest.
Koumra is a city in southern Chad. It is the capital of the region of Mandoul and of the department of Mandoul Oriental. It is the sixth largest town in Chad.
Am Timan is a city in Chad and is the capital of the region of Salamat. Most of economy comes from Salamat region such as fish, vegetables and anomalies meat, etc. In Arabic, Am Timan means "mother of twins". As the capital of the prefecture, it has the area of many towns and villages around it, including the Zakouma National Park.
Bongor is a city in Chad, the capital of the region of Mayo-Kebbi Est. It is located on the eastern bank of the Logone River. During the rainy season (May–September), the Logone is navigable between Bongor and N'Djamena, Chad's capital. The population is 29,268 (2008).
Pala is a town in Chad and the capital of the region of Mayo-Kebbi Ouest. The Fula language is spoken in the area. The Roman Catholic bishopric of Pala served Mayo-Kebbi Prefecture, in 1970, Pala included 116,000 of Chad's 160,000 Catholics.
