Kadoma

Kadoma was known as Gatooma until after independence in 1982.

The Grand Hotel, which opened in 1925, had the first sprung floor for dancing in Zimbabwe.

Kadoma is located approximately 141 kilometres southwest of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe.

The largest gold producer in Zimbabwe's history, the Cam and Motor Mine, is located near Kadoma.

Kadoma is twinned with Stevenage in the United Kingdom.
